About Instructor: Yeji Lee
Yeji Lee is a dynamic cellist with extensive experience in solo, chamber, and orchestral performance. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music inPerformance at Biola University, where she is a principal cellist for the Biola Symphony Orchestra and is a member of the Biola Honors String Quartet. She is currently the student of Keith Williams.
Born and raised in South Korea until the age of twelve, Yeji moved to Kenya where she was raised as a Missionary Kid. In Kenya, she became the youngest member of the Nairobi Orchestra and a three-time winner of the YoungMusicians Competition (2015, 2016, 2018). Yeji is passionate about cultivating classical music communities across diverse contexts by creating opportunities for musicians to grow in both skill and character.
